Forgiveness Scriptures Bookmark and Share
These forgiveness scriptures were written about seeking atonement from our Holy Father. Can you reflect this same type of unconditional love with those that seek forgiveness from you? While it is hard to forgive those who hurt us, it is often equally as hard to ask for forgiveness. Perhaps you can draw some inspiration from these forgiveness scriptures.

Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews 4:16)

Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light. (Matthew 11:28)

Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved. (Psalm 55:22)

My little children, these things I write to you, that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. (1 John 2:1)
